Morzai temple in Gomantak, Goa. Many stories are associated with the emergence of this temple which is devoted to the holy goddess, Morzai. It is believed that this goddess emerged from the sea and was fished out by the fisherman ( morjey ). Further, she tells about Maa Bhagvati, Theerth, Kalashotsav, Parashuram, Mukti, Mahishasur, Devi Durga, and Mata Parvati.
