Akhand Gayatri Mantra has 10 Maha Vyahritis.
They activate, awaken and integrate 10 major centers (Chakras).
AUM* is repeated 22 times.
This version finds its origin in Akhand Sutra.
It is based on the spiritual experiences of the ten stages of Akhand Yoga and Divyank, the Divine Constant, with which the perfect and most beautiful objects of the universe and Nature are designed and created.
It represents the expanded consciousness of the present Era of Intuitive Science.
The Essence:
Gayatri Mantra is dedicated to Savitur, the Sun-God.
It is dedicated to Goddess Savitri, the consort of Savitur.
It is also dedicated to Brahman, the Formless Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, all-pervasive Universal Consciousness, the source of Savitur, Savitri, and other manifestations of the universe and Nature.

Maha Gayatri Mantra:

Maha Gayatri Mantra has 10 Maha Vyahritis.

This Maha Narayani Upanishad Gayatri Mantra is attributed to Sage Vishvamitra.
It is chanted on Avaniattam, Purnima, and full-moon day of Raksha-Bandhan.
It represents the consciousness of the Era of Treta-Yug or the Epic Ramayana.
The most common and chanted Gayatri Mantra:
“AUM, Bhur, Bhuva, Suvah, Tat, Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi, Dheo Yonah Prachodayat!”
This version is normally chanted 108 times every day.
- The original Gayatri Mantra:
It first appears in Rig-Veda, the oldest surviving scripture of the world. It goes like this.
“Tat, Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi, Dheo Yonah Prachodayat!”
It represents the pure consciousness of Satya-Yug, the Era of Truth of Vedas.
- The first improvised version is seen in Yavur-Veda.
Bhur, Bhuva, and Suvah were added to the first version.
